Choose:

- Size: Several square options, each with one 3" glass flush-mounted inset. Or choose the larger rectangular one, with two 3" backlights.

- Base: This is the main wood, about 1" thick, that the backlight is made of.

- Bottom: This is the thin layer on the bottom, about 1/8" thick, that seals in the LEDs, and it's visible from the sides and - if you choose clear glass - through the top. Choose something contrasting or complementary. Or you can choose the same wood as the base, though a thin line where the joint is made will still be visible and the grain will not match exactly between the two pieces.

- Glass: Clear or opaque; I have many other colors available, but they're so varied in hue and texture that you'll have to come to a show to pick a colored option!

The backlight is done with LEDs partially hidden within the wood, so you get a nice diffuse light that is super low power, consuming about a watt, producing almost no heat, and powered via a USB cable.
